“Waste Gasification / Thermal Oxidation” in short WG-TO is a unique thermal process which converts municipal solid waste, sludge, medical waste, tires, industrial debris and other trash from a solid into a combustible gas. This gas is then processed, emitting a clean, invisible air stream containing mostly water vapor and carbon dioxide.
The process requires no pre-sorting or pre-processing of the incoming waste, and accomplishes a 95% reduction of the organic load. Post-combustion recycling of all of the remaining aluminum, metals and glass eliminates the need for a landfill for any of these materials.
The system is “Exothermic”, i.e. it produces more BTU’s of heat from the energy content of the waste than it uses to operate the process. Therefore, the system’s consumption of supplemental fuel and electric power is very low and makes heat recovery options most cost effective.
The process is very simple. It requires only few unskilled operators to safely and efficiently run the system. While it is a simple and inexpensive process, WG-TO is an advanced technology which combines leading edge control logistics with refined, durable and low maintenance mechanics.
